Das war ein ziemlicher Schock als ich aus den Ferien zurückkommt - ich wusste nichts von diesen Plänen. Aber Chapeau, ich bewundere euren Mut und wünsche euch viel Erfolg und Durchhaltevermögen. Gute Reise und "CU in a while".

Für eure grosse Reise wollte ich euch eigentlich einen Eintritt ins Kino sponsern. Etwa für den einen Film, Rita, den du noch immer nicht gesehen hast, aber selbst mit chinesischen Untertiteln verstehst... Allein mit Essen, Trinken und Schlafen kommt ihr schliesslich auch mit und auf dem Fahrrad nicht weit ;-)

Mangels einer Kultursponsoring-Option auf eurer Website musste ich jetzt meine Euros in ein anderes Sparschwein einwerfen... Also, vergesst nicht: diese Euros sind nur im äussersten Notfall zum Essen, sondern zum Hören und Schauen da!

Hello Chris! I am so excited about your adventure! This is something so cool that I would have never had the courage to do. You and Rita will have these memories forever. Good thing you are doing this before you have children!

Wow Chris! I knew you were a cool guy but I never knew just HOW cool ! This is an adventure that few have even dreamed of. Please take a lot of pictures and document every stop. When you get back, plan to cycle over to the US to visit us(wait, that won't work). We miss you and look forward to hearing about the trip. Be safe.

And I thought that my friend who is spending 6 months hiking the Appalachian Trail was doing the most extreme thing anyone I know is doing. Wow, that's ambitious! Good luck, Chris, and I'll be thinking of your journey while I'm studying hard in Athens, Georgia! Keep us posted!
